Continuing with the trend of adult comedies, the third instalment in the Kya Kool Hai Hum series is back. The only change this time around is that Ritesh Deshmukh makes way for Aftab Shivdasani. Let’s now see how this film turns out to be.

Kanaiah(Tushar Kapoor) and Rocky(Aftab Shivdasani) are kicked out of their respective homes for their illicit behaviour. They land up in Bangkok and end up becoming porn stars. As this is going on, Kanaiah falls in love with Mandana( Mandana Karimi) and proposes her to marry him.

Mandana lays a condition to Kanaiah that her dad needs to approve this relationship and would like to meet his family. Left with no choice, Kanaiah makes all the porn stars in his group his fake family members and meets Manadana’s dad(Darshan Jariwala).

Rest of the story is as to how both Kanaiah and Rocky manage to deal with their crazy family and impress Mandana’s dad.

Plus Points:-

As always Tushar Kapoor does a wonderful job with his role. He suits his character and goes with the flow of the film. Aftab Shivdasani is at his cheekiest best and brings the house down on fire. All his one liners and double meaning dialogues have worked out quite well.

Dialogues are quite quirky and have been written based on adult content. The various punches and monologues written go well with the mood of the film well. Krishna Abhishek gets a superb role and evokes good laughs. The talented actor is superb during the entire film and shares a decent chemistry with the lead pair.

Minus Points:-

Even though we know from the first frame that KKHM3 is an adult comedy, there are scenes which are quite over the top. After a point in time after the interval, there are certain scenes which look outright cheap.

Even though the mistaken identity idea is good, the proceedings make a fool of you and get on top of your nerves. The spoof done on various Bollywood hit films gets boring after a point as it keeps coming in at regular intervals.

There is no emotion and even the main character whom everyone is trying to impress does silly things and make the proceedings even more outdated. Climax of the film is just hurried up and has no meaning at all. The way characters react and ham at length gets on to your nerves big time.

Technical Aspects:-

Production values of the film are pretty good and so was the camera work. Music by Sajid Wajid is decent and so were the lyrics of the songs. Good thing about them is that they do not disturb the flow of the film. Screenplay is the biggest drawback as there are scenes which are induced just for bringing in adult comedy.

Coming to the director Umesh Gadhe, he has failed to generate enough laughs in the third instalment. The first two parts had witty comedy and the proceedings were also interesting. But sadly here, he makes a fool of his actors and makes the film go on top of your heads.

Adult comedies only click when the punches and content shown looks bearable. But sadly, the case is different in Kya Kool Hai Hum 3. The third instalment in the hit franchise is bland, creepy and with some outdated execution. The over the top performances of the lead cast also make the film unbearable at times. The youth can give this film a shot only for some eye candy. Rest can take it easy and pick another film this weekend. Rating : 2.5/5
