The hot and happening Sunny Leone is back with yet another film Kuch Kuch Locha Hai. Directed by Devang Dholakia, this film which also stars Ram Kapoor, Evelyn Sharma, Navdeep Chabbra hit the theatres today. Let’s see how it is.
Praveen Patel (Ram Kapoor), a well settled businessman in Malaysia, is a huge fan of Bollywood actress Shanaya (Sunny Leone). He has a wife Kokila and a son Jiggy (Chabbra), who is in love with his neighbour Naina (Evelyn Sharma). Jiggy aspires to become a rock star and then decides to marry his ladylove Naina.
However, for one of her film promotional activities, Shanaya visits Malaysia to meet the chosen lucky winner, who is none other than Praveen Patel. When Praveen and Shanaya meet each other, they become friends and Praveen tries to impress her.
How does Praveen impress Shanaya? Will he get caught by his wife? Will Naina and Jiggy’s love story come to a happy ending ? That forms the rest of the story.
The major positive thing about the film is the involvement of sexy siren Sunny Leone in it. Those who go to the theaters expecting Sunny’s glamour and sensuous body will not be disappointed at all. The performances by the remaining cast are decent. A couple of songs on screen looked appealing.
Major drawback of the film is the story and narration. This film has a predictable story line and the way it has been narrated is below par. None of the cast including Sunny Leone did not put in much effort to act as such. The film lacks execution and it gets illogical at one point and the audience fails to understand the story.
The chemistry between Praveen and Shanaya lacks the essential heat and the duo fail to create the so-called sensual environment needed for the audiences to stay glued to their seats. This film is termed as a comedy entertainer, but there are no scenes where the audience can laugh.
Cinematography is pathetic and the film looks like a drama. The screenplay is below par and lacks narration. Music is just about Ok and the editing is too poor. The climax and the dialogues are a disappointment.
On the whole, Kuch Kuch Locha Hai is a mindless sex comedy and Sunny Leone’s fans will end up liking her curves but for the rest of the audience, they can easily give this film a miss and wait for it to come out on television!
