Sooraj Barjatya’s tribute to Mughal-e-Azam in his next

It is already a known fact that Salman Khan and Sooraj Barjatya have teamed up for a periodic drama ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ after a gap of 13 years. As per the latest reports, Sooraj is paying his homage to the cult classic ‘Mughal-e-Azam’ in his film.

The iconic director, who is known for his classic blockbuster family films like ‘Maine Pyar Kiya’, ‘Hum Apke Hain Kaun’, has constructed a Sheesh Mahal for ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ in Karjat, which is an integral part of the movie.

In a recent media interaction, Sooraj Barjatya said that everything about this film is iconic and they have indeed tried to pay homage to this cult classic in the film by constructing the Sheesh Mahal. He further added that it’s our tribute to the film and it plays a very intrinsic role in the plot of the film.

The movie, which also features Sonam Kapoor and Anupam Kher in key roles, is slated to hit the screens on November 12, 2015.
