Shankar Mahadevan suffers heart stroke, hospitalized
Four-time national award winning playback singer Shankar Mahadevan was admitted to a Delhi-based hospital after he complained of uneasiness in his chest this morning. Doctors treated the singer for heart attack and he has been kept under observation in the ICU. Shankar’s condition is said to be stable now and he will be discharged soon.
Shankar Mahadevan’s close associate confirmed that Shankar was admitted to a hospital after doctors advised him be under observation for a couple of days. The singer will be flying back to Mumbai soon. Shankar was to perform in Gujarat and the show has now been cancelled.
When a national media house contacted Shankar, the singer replied saying, “All is well…am absolutely fine now…Thanks.”
