Salman’s ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ lands in legal troubles
The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has taken extensive safety steps to ensure that Salman Khan’s ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ doesn’t cause any communal tension, hence hired a team of Muslim representatives to avoid the religious objections soon after the film’s release.
After a lot of discussions, the CBFC has passed the movie with 5 cuts and issued U/A certificate. But, in a sudden twist, ahead of the film’s release, the flick ran into legal troubles over its song Bhar Do Jholi Mein.
Going into details, Abdul Samee Siddiqui, who owns the rights to the dargah song, has sent the legal notice to Salman Khan, Kabir Khan and few others involved with the project, for using his song illegally. However, it is yet to be seen how Salman and Kabir will react to this issue.
‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ also stars Kareena Kapoor, Nawazuddin Siddiqui in key roles and is scheduled to hit the screens on July 17th, 2015.
