Salman to replace SRK in KJo’s next?

If the latest reports are to be believed, Salman Khan will replace Shah Rukh Khan in Karan Johar’s upcoming production venture ‘Kalank‘ which will be directed by the ‘2 States‘ director Abhishek Varman.

Earlier, there were reports that Hrithik Roshan or Ranveer Singh will replace SRK, but now the latest reports suggest that Karan Johar has approached Salman Khan for the film.

‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ was the only movie for which Salman has worked with Karan till date but his role was that of a supporting actor. However, now if everything goes as planned, ‘Kalank’ will be the first Dharma Productions movie which will have Salman in the lead role.

Meanwhile, Salman Khan is gearing up for the release of ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo‘ which is set to release on 12th November 2015. On the other hand, SRK is busy shooting for Rohit Shetty’s ‘Dilwale’ which also stars Kajol, Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon in lead roles.
