KJo reveals his latent desires
Director turned producer Karan Johar, who is making his acting debut with Anurag Kashyap’s ‘Bombay Velvet’, wants to add yet other feather to his already decorated cap. The latest report is that Karan Johar wants to turn a writer soon.
Speaking at the book launch, KJo said that the stories that happen behind the scenes are far more interesting than movies. However, the Dharma honcho added that though he would love to write such a book, but he is too young to do something like that but hoped that he ends up writing a book someday.
‘Bombay Velvet’ is based on historian Gyan Prakash’s book ‘Mumbai Fables’ which narrates the story of how the city in 1960’s became a metropolis against the backdrop of love, greed, violence and jazz music. The film also stars Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Raveena Tandon and Kay Kay Menon in lead roles and is slated to release on May 15.
