HC rejects plea to grant stay on Salman’s appea
It is already a known fact that Salman Khan filed an appeal against his conviction for culpable homicide not amounting to murder in the hit-and-run case. As per the latest reports, the Bombay High Court rejected intervention plea to grant stay on the ‘Kick’ actor’s appeal.
This case heads back to Sept 2002 when Salman’s Toyota Land Cruiser ran over a group of people sleeping on the pavement outside a bakery in suburban Bandra. One person was killed and four others were injured in the accident.
