‘Brothers’ first week report

Akshay Kumar and Sidharth Malhotra’s starrer ‘Brothers’ collected 72.60 crore in its first-week, which is the second highest box office collection after Salman Khan’s ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’.

Brothers has shattered the first-week box office collection records of films including, ABCD 2 , Tanu Weds Manu Returns, Gabbar Is Back and Tanu Weds Manu Returns.

‘Brothers’ first-week income is the highest for Akshay in 2015 but the ‘Baby’ actor still has to achieve a 100 crore film in his kitty this year. Helmed by Karan Malhotra and co-produced by Karan Johar, the film also had Jackie Shroff and Jacqueline Fernandez in prominent roles.
