Baadshah to be conferred with yet another honor

Shah Rukh Khan will soon be honored with an honorary doctorate from the University of Edinburgh. After Dr A P J Abdul Kalam, SRK will be the second personality to be bestowed this award.

However, it looks like SRK has once again proved that he is a truly iconic actor, who has won over audiences not only in India, but also internationally.

The ‘Cheenai Express’ actor was awarded Padma Shri in 2005 and the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres by the government of France in 2007 for his contribution to cinema and also received an honorary doctorate degree in arts and culture from Britain’s University of Bedfordshire in 2009.

On the work front, SRK is busy shooting for Rohit Shetty’s ‘Dilwale’ which also stars Kajol, Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon in lead roles. This film will hit the screens on December 18th, 2015.
