While wife Kajol was busy voicing her ideas on eliminating gender bias in our country at the ‘save and empower the girl child’ campaign. Husband Ajay Devgn along with producer Kumar Mangat and Ramakant J. Tibrewala of the Roha Group announced the completion of a 25 MW solar plant at Gujarat during a press conference held on April 17 at Chandigarh. The solar power project is located in Charanaka in Gujarat and is a joint venture between the Roha Group, Ajay Devgn and Kumar Mangat.

This plant has been built using the most advanced technologies. The Charanaka Solar Park will be formally inaugurated by Chief Minister Narendra Modi in Gujarat on April 19, 2012, which is the first day of the 2-day Indian Solar Summit 2012.
